League of Gentlemen stars Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton are launching a new comedy series on BBC2. Psychoville will be populated with a cast of unnique characters similar to those seen in Royston Vasey including a pantomime Snow White.
Names such as Dawn French, Christopher Biggins, Dame Eileen Atkins and Nicholas Le Prevost have been reported by the Guardian to be starring in the new show.
BBC2 controller Roly Keating, who commissioned the series, said: "BBC2's The League Of Gentlemen became one of the channel's most talked about and idiosyncratic television comedies of recent years so we're very happy to welcome back Reece and Steve with their latest creation."
Psychoville will be on air early next year.
