Lost TV Generation?
15 Feb 08
RTS Futures held the Lost TV Generation? event this week at the Soho Hotel in London. The evening was hosted by quick witted Guardian TV editor Gareth McLean who posed the question: How to create a hit show for young people?
The panel was made up of youth TV experts including Skins creator Bryan Elsley, commissioning editor for BBC THREE Karl Warner and executive producer of Big Brother Phil Edgar-Jones while MySpace Senior Vice President for International Marketing and Content Jamie Kantrowitz offered an insight into the multi-faceted social networking world. Steve Clarke went along to find out more.
Friends of the RTS MediaSnackers were there behind the scenes quizzing the RTS Futures community on their thoughts as to what makes a hit show for young people. Click here to see what they said.
